Key tasks for achieving carbon peak in the industrial sector

In the context of addressing global climate change, the industrial sector, as one of the major areas of energy consumption and carbon emissions, is crucial for achieving global emission reduction targets. Therefore, China has clearly identified a series of key tasks for the industrial sector, aiming to promote industrial green and low-carbon transformation through multi-dimensional strategies such as optimizing the industrial structure, energy conservation and carbon reduction, green manufacturing, circular economy development, technological innovation and digital transformation, to ensure the successful realization of the carbon peak target.
1. Deeply adjust the industrial structure
